Roger Clemens is returning to baseball, fresh off his acquittal on federal charges of lying to Congress about alleged steroid use. Clemens, who is 50, has signed a contract with the Sugar Land Skeeters, a Texas-based franchise in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The deal was announced by Houston station Fox 26. The seven-time Cy Young Award winner has not pitched professionally since Game 3 of the 2007 American League Championship Series. Fox 26 reports Clemens will pitch for the Skeeters this Saturday night.
