The public is invited for an oath of office ceremony 5 p-m Tuesday, January 8 at Oconee County Council Chambers in Walhalla. Three re-elected councilmen–Wayne McCall, Joel Thrift, and Reg Dexter–are to take the oath for their second, 4-year terms. Administering the oath will be Probate Judge Kenny Johns.
