A team of Ravenel Elementary students has won the Oconee School District’s Battle of the Books competition. Held last Saturday, 10 elementary schools and their 50-student teams competed. Each team was required to read and be familiar with 10 books chosen from South Carolina Children’s Book Award Nominees. In the final round, the Ravenel team bested the competition from Westminster Elementary and Northside Elementary.
