Promoting agriculture education

Applications for scholarships to promote agricultural education are now being accepted by the board of the Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair. The organization awards scholarships to groups providing education and training to young people studying for a future in an agricultural career. Funds are used for special projects, workshops or camps. Scholarship requests from interested organizations may be submitted in writing to the Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair, PO Box 380, Fair Play, SC 29643. For more information, contact Stanley Gibson at 864/903-1823. The 5th Annual Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair takes place October 1-5.
