One month of hydrant flushings

The city of Walhalla on Monday will embark on one month of hydrant testing. Across the water district, the hydrants will be flushed from October 1 though November 2. For a short time, this may cause some discoloration with the water. According to the city, the water will be safe to drink, but it’s advisable to check the water before doing laundry.
