OC’s upper elevations see Broadband work

The project to prepare for high-speed internet service has reached a pair of upper elevations in Oconee County. Much of the activity in the county’s project FOCUS recently has been in Long Creek and Mountain Rest. According to the project office, by November 20 workers had installed 200 miles of conduit and nearly 175 miles of fiber optic cable.
