A 46-year old Oconee County woman died yesterday morning of complications due to smoke inhalation and thermal injuries suffered three months prior in a home fire near Seneca. Coroner Karl Addis said Linda Kay Christian died at 7:40 a-m yesterday at the Cottingham Hospice House. She was admitted to hospice February 1, after being discharged from the regional burn center at Augusta, Georgia. Christian becomes the second fatality from the December 6 fire in a mobile home at 215 Cox Road near Seneca. That fire took the life of Charles Oglesby, 55 years old. Family members, who discovered the fire, pulled Christian from the home. CPR was given. EMS treated Christian at the scene. She was airlifted to the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta.
