Walhalla, SC—Douglas K. Seaborn, age 85 of Molino, FL passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 after a very short but courageous battle with cancer. He joined the Army Air Corps during WWII as a B-17 pilot, earning a Distinguished Flying Cross and a Bronze Star Medal. He spent eighteen months as a German POW surviving the “Death March” across Germany on his return to the U.S. A brief memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North and visitation will continue until 8:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Davenport Funeral Home before the service.
