Saturday is Military Appreciation day atClemsonUniversity. During Saturday’s Clemson-Virginia Tech football game, the college’s Athletic Department will pay tribute to veterans, fallen soldiers and those now serving in the armed forces. A special tribute will be made to Major Rudolf Anderson, who was the only victim of enemy fire during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Major Anderson was a 1948 Graduate of Clemson.
