Mike Crenshaw to assemble staff

Not only did Mike Crenshaw fare well with the electorate, his sense of timing seemed flawless last night. A dark-suited Crenshaw, accompanied by his wife, walked into the Oconee County Council Chambers at just the moment the die had been cast. He was smiling and engaged in what appeared to be a pleasant conversation with his former employer, the retiring Sheriff James Singleton. And when Crenshaw spoke on 96.3/WGOG, he predicted a smooth transition, once he leaves his current duty as the interim Westminster police chief. Gracious in defeat, Terry Wilson last night would not rule out being interested in position with the Crenshaw administration. Wilson currently serves as chief deputy.
