The "Golden Corner Gospel" Show is a year old and we are going to celebrate God's blessings!

YOU and YOUR FAMILY  are invited to join hosts Tom Rusk and Wayne Morton at the First Anniversary Concert Saturday, Aug. 9, 6 pm (doors open at 5 pm) at the Walhalla Civic Auditorium along with:  The Porter Family of Waynesville,NC, the Providence Quartet of Pendleton,SC, the Total Praise Quartet of Six Mile,SC and the Zion Quartet of Seneca.

Many cds, dvds, and other itmes will be given away as door prizes  as we want to show our appreciation to you for listening to "The Golden Corner Gospel" each Sunday morning.

In our first year, we have been selected as a charting station for The Singing News Magazine of southern gospel music , The Gospel News Magazine, and Christian Voice Magazine. Listeners represent three states and many church bulletins are carrying announcements about "The Golden Corner Gospel."

TOM RUSK - a retired US Army Reserve chaplain assistant & also retired from Walt Disney World. Tom & his wife Kathy recently moved from Florida to their "retirement home" in West Union. Tom has extensive experience in radio in management and "on air" hosting. Tom and Kathy are members of Utica Baptist Church in Seneca. He is also a volunteer ambassador for Promise Keepers and is a huge "Mayberry" fan, has a "Mayberry Room" in his home and is a member of the Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club.

Jimmy Watt, traffic reporter for 96.3 WGOG and WYFF-TV and member of Seneca's Church of the Nazarene has recently entered the ministry and is pictured here speaking at the Oconee County Ministerial Association's annual Easter Sunrise Service on April 8, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Park.

Annette Johns, her mother Edna and father Thomas Smith recently sang "live" on 96.3 WGOG. Annette also sang at this year's Easter Sunrise Service. Her music is featured on Golden Corner Gospel.

Mike Evatt, member of New Hope Baptist Church, was a recent "guest DJ".
