A spokesman for Oconee Medical Center confirms the hospital is in the works of Phase III for its Hospice House of the Foothills on S.C. 188. Plans call for office space, exam rooms, changes in the nurses’ station, and a shelled-in area that eventually will house additional patient rooms. Hunter Kome, vice president for OMC operations, says that like the original Cottingham House, the project will be paid for with donated funds.
