Georgia Southern Converts Strong Second Half Into 38-17 Win Over Furman

Dominique Swope scored two touchdowns and FCS third-ranked Georgia Southern reeled off 21 unanswered points in the second half on the way to a 38-17 victory over Furman in Southern Conference football action Saturday afternoon at Paladin Stadium.  The win was the fifth straight for Georgia Southern (6-1, 5-1 SoCon) and the loss the third consecutive for Furman (2-6, 1-4 SoCon).
