You’ll be wise to carry a sweater or a jacket with you at this evening’s city of Walhalla event on the green space behind the Earle House. Because of an estimated $200 thousand price tag to restore the municipal swim pool to working order, city leaders are hoping that tonight’s free hors d’oeuvres, wine and music will bring in donations toward a $30 thousand goal by Thanksgiving. Councilman Deek Biemann says whether you have a lot of money to give or just a small amount, you are welcome. The event begins at 5 o’clock.
