A Friday night traffic accident in Oconee County has left a 35 year-old Pickens County man dead. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says the man’s name is being withheld at this time so his family may be notified. Addis says the two vehicle collision occurred on North Highway 11 near the intersection of Fall Creek Road at around 7:08 PM. Police say the victim was traveling north on 11 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a southbound vehicle. The man died at the scene from blunt force trauma.
