Democrats worried about the approaching fiscal cliff are organizing a fiscal showdown event this afternoon in Anderson, in front of the office of Republican Congressman Jeff Duncan. As one Democrat put it in an email over the weekend, “Please consider joining us to help assure that OUR ELECTED MEMBER of Congress understands the need for a BALANCED APPROACH to managing the nation’s ‘fiscal crisis.’” The event is planned for 2 o’clock in front of Duncan’s office at 303 W. Belt Line Blvd. in the North Hills Office Complex.
