Mike Crenshaw takes the oath of office New Year’s Eve to begin his four-year term as Oconee County Sheriff. The 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, December 31 ceremony at the Oconee Courthouse is open to the public. Federal Judge Tim Cain, an Oconee County resident, will administer the oath. And once the oath is given, Crenshaw plans to swear-in his force of officers at the same ceremony.
