State troopers report one person killed this morning in what apparently was a four-vehicle accident on S.C. 11 at Bruce Road. At least two people were reportedly severely hurt, requiring one of them to be flown by helicopter to the Greenville Memorial Hospital. The accident involved a tractor trailer truck and three passenger vehicles. According to Oconee Fire Chief Charlie King, the affected part of s. highway 11 remains closed.
