The surprise attack by Japan on the U-S Naval fleet in Hawaii is being remembered today by Jeff Duncan, South Carolina’s Third District congressman. Duncan, a Republican from Laurens, said, “As we pause to remember the 71st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we are reminded of all those who have died in defense of freedom.” He called it “a sobering reminder” that the U-S must remain vigilant.
