Come the new year will come someone new in charge of Duke Energy’s World of Energy next to the Oconee Nuclear Station. The electric utility today announced the appointment of Barbara Gatten of Nashville, Tennessee to succeed the retiring Sandra Magee. Gatten, who comes from the Tennessee Valley Authority, will report for work January 2 and transition to the job with Magee, who retires at the end of March.
