A broken tail light was only the start of trouble for a 29-year old Seneca area man. It eventually led Oconee sheriff’s officers to place drug charges against Brandon Wayne Arnold of the Friendship Community. Late on the night of October 16 at Townville, officers on extra patrol  spotted a vehicle whose tail light illuminated white and red. It led to an eventual foot chase in the Crossroads/Tokeena area behind a home at Sumac and Hemlock drives. Officers say their suspect, toting a black bag, fell down an embankment into a dog pen. He was treated at the hospital. Officers say a search of the bag revealed various controlled substances. A Colt .22 pistol was confiscated.
