CU students plan service trips during break

Two groups of Clemson students are using their winter breaks to help others. One group is in Atlanta this week working with a project dealing with urban issues, including poverty, homelessness and under-privileged youngsters. Fifteen fraternity and sorority members are headed to the Dominican Republic to build a safe, affordable concrete-block home that ensures safety from hurricanes. And while in the Dominican Republic, the Clemson students will learn about social and political issues.
