Gamecock Jadeveon Clowney
South Carolina sophomore defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has been selected as the Southeastern Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against UAB last Saturday, the league office announced today. Clowney, a 6-6, 256-pounder from Rock Hill, S.C., was credited with seven tackles, including 3.5 tackles for losses totaling 17 yards, and 2.0 sacks in Carolina’s 49-6 win over the Blazers.
