With 14 workers, Oconee Democrats cleaned a two-mile stretch of 123, between Ingle’s and Blue Ridge Orthopedic. For them, it was a record 45 minutes. Their litter pick-up was part of the National Day of Service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Afterward, the group gathered for a potluck lunch to watch the Inaugural ceremony of President Obama.
