The Chargers Philip Rivers was on-target for most of the night Thursday as San Diego defeated Kansas City.

The San Diego Chargers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-13 Thursday night in San Diego. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers was 18 of 20 passes, or 90 percent, for 220 yards and two touchdowns. It was just the sixth time in NFL history that a quarterback had completed 90 percent or more of his passes, and tied Steve Young for fifth on the list. Chiefs QB Matt Cassel went 19 of 29 for 181 yards. Cassel had both a fumble and an interception in the fourth quarter, both of which led to Chargers touchdowns.
