The new chairman of the Oconee Library Board of Trustees, Danny Day, would like his time as board chairman to be the time that, finally, a decision is made to build Seneca’s replacement library. And, to that end, Day says a meeting of library leaders is to take place soon with representatives of both the city and the county. According to Day, four potential locations for the project remain in play. They include the existing location, Blue Ridge Elementary School, North First and Main streets, and a piece of property on E.N. 1st Street, now home to W-and-W Mobile Homes.
