If you have an opinion or question about the feasibility to expanding Clemson Area Transit bus routes in Oconee County, you’ll want Ernie Boughman to hear it. Boughman and his associates are working on an updated passenger bus service study, the results of which could make their way to the Oconee County Council by the end of the year. Salem leaders and residents recently had a chance to weigh-in on the possibility of a future “CAT” spur route serving their town. Now residents of Keowee Key and West Union get their chance. Meetings are planned at the Keowee Key Clubhouse at 1 p-m Monday, October 8 and at West Union Town Hall at 6 o’clock that same night.
