Fall camping this year at Hartwell Dam and Lake offer several options. Twin Lakes Campground in Pendleton and Watsadler Campground in Hartwell, remain fully open until November 30. After December 1, both campgrounds will have one loop open for the winter. Springfield Campground will remain open through October 30. “All three campgrounds feature electric and water hook-ups, restrooms with showers, dump stations, boat maps, playgrounds, and staffed entrance gates; the majority of campsites also come with a lake view, said Park Ranger Tanya Grant.
