Bleak as the day was for its cold and freezing rain, Friday was a bright day for the recuperation of James Barker, Clemson University president. Barker reports his medical team is satisfied by his progress after five heart by-passes, and he’s now allowed to continue to rest and rehab at home. Barker wrote the university community: “My only job now is to follow their excellent advice.”
